tired of tedium.

I miss going out to snap pics. I'll put photography on hold for about 6 months after the march hols until after the O's. Really sucks this whole exam thingy. I just wanna get it over and done with. And after that, I'll be like shooting every gosh darn day! I'm scared I'll loose my touch after the break. Haha. Okay not. Danial! If you're reading this text me when's the soonest you're free!

Fridays training was so what the hell. It was the shortest training I've ever had in like 4 years? I've got more of a run around whie playing netball after it. Haha. Anyways I played keeper for about 2 games (even though 1 didn't count cause we're against the c boys and I touched the ball like 3 times?) Keeper's really fun! But kinda boring if your team's just too good. We ended around 415? Like whaaaat! The canteen's like not even closed la! Waited and chatted with shaykh azmira and irni and had our poetry slam competition thingy. Hahahaha. Played netball! The match against the basketballers was like sooooo ewwww. *points to underarms* HEH.

Okay my mum just called me. She's boarding her plane real soon. I'll really miss her and stuff. (though we quarrelled yesterday). ):

Now I'm convincing my sister to go follow her to bangkok! She doesn't want to but I do! If she goes, then only can I follow. I can't be alone in a shemale infested commmunity like that yknow. I wanna shopshopshop there! And whatsmore IF I go, it'll be from friday to saturday. Meaning I'll reach on friday evening and have the whole of saturday to shop and then be back home on sunday. C'mon lets face it. What's there in Bangkok other than cheap shopping items? Yeaaah. So yeap. Kakak please go. :D

Okay can't wait for school tomorrow. I really wanna take OLE 1 but the teachers seem to give priorities to sucky sec 2/3 photogs. Aiyoyo. Nevermind.

Spixie on the beach

Spinelli and Maxie slipped off their sandals and began walking across the sand to the beach. It was a beautiful warm sunny day, and they held hands as they looked for a good spot with some shade.

“Here,” said Spinelli. “This spot will do nicely. This tree is perfectly situated to protect your lovely skin from the sun.” Maxie looked at him with a smile on her lips. “What about you? I’m thinking with all that paleness you’re gonna be as red as a lobster in about five minutes. You need some protecting too.”

 

Spinelli spread out their beach blanket, and they sat down for a moment to take in the scene before them. Maxie draped her legs over Spinelli’s and cuddled close to him, nuzzling his neck. He stared at her. She was wearing a flimsy yellow bikini and was almost impossibly beautiful. He would never tire of looking at her.

 

“Spin,” said Maxie. “Will you put some sunscreen on me?” She handed him the bottle. “Of course,” he said. “The Jackal will be most exceedingly pleased to oblige.” He began spreading the sunscreen on her body, and the experience was almost too erotic for both of them. When he was done, he kissed the tip of her nose and then kissed her deeply on the lips. They could not get enough of the taste of each other.

 

“Now you,” he said when they finally broke away. Maxie took the bottle and began spreading sunscreen on Spinelli’s chest. He really was a beautiful man. Every day she could feel herself falling more in love with him. She slipped her hand into the waistband of his bathing trunks and pulled him toward her. She kissed him again and then ran her hands through his hair, pushing it back off his face. “I think it’s about time for a proper haircut,” she said. “I want to see that beautiful face of yours.” He grinned at her. “Whatever you like, my love,” he said.

 

When they finally ventured down to the water, Maxie was a little tentative. The water was kind of cold, and the waves were rather rough at times. Spinelli ran into the water exuberantly while she watched him. He had such joy for life now, and he filled her heart with amazing joy too. He came back to her, scooped her up into his arms and ran back into the water with her. “Come on, chicken,” he said. “This is what we’re here for. Let’s enjoy it. Let’s get wet and play.” His sense of fun was infectious, and Maxie was soon following him into deeper water. Spinelli disappeared under the water for a moment, and Maxie looked around, a little alarmed. But then she felt his body press against hers and his lips on her neck as he slipped out of the water. “Don’t do that!” she giggled. “I was actually scared there for a minute.” Spinelli smiled at her and kissed her softly. “Never worry about me, Maxie,” he said. “There is nothing on this earth that could take me away from you.”

 

When they came out of the water, they went to lay down on the blanket. Spinelli put a towel around Maxie and another one around himself. He lay looking up at the sky, while she lay looking over at him. They had had so many fun days together since she finally confessed her feelings for him. He was everything she could have hoped for and more. She was head over heels in love with this man. “Spin,” she said, but he didn’t hear her. He was lost somewhere in his daydreams. “Sweetie ... Spin … Damian!” That got his attention. He rolled over on top of her and looked down at her. “What is it you wish, oh vision of loveliness?”

 

She pulled him closer and nibbled on his ear, making him groan with desire. “Maximista wants to know the Jackal in the carnal sense,” she whispered to him. “She wants to feel him inside her. She wants to wrap herself around him and show him the full extent of her unbridled lust for him. She wants him to know down in the very deepest part of him that his Maximista will love him till the end of time.”

 

And with no further ado, Spinelli quickly gathered up all their things and they hurried back to their beach house. As soon as they closed the door, they stripped off their clothing and pressed their naked bodies together, giving in to their passion for each other. It was just another day in love. :)

So I finally watched Watchmen. I think it was a pretty good movie in itself, and a fine adaptation. Some of the good stuff that was added/changed almost made up for all the great things that were cut that could've been in there.

They added a lot of action, probably to keep the "average moviegoer" entertained between all the dialogue. I don't know if the gore and sex was necessary, but i suppose it drives home the point that it wasn't superheroes for your kids.

Of course everyone has been complaining about the ending since it was just a rumor, but I think they pulled it off okay. It still has the same idea behind it, and the same emotion. It could've been way worse and made into a happy ending with Dr. Manhattan saving everyone by going back in time or something.

Activity: Cluedo!
Deadline: Saturday 14 March at 10 PM CST.
Points: 50/40/30/10 points for First/Second/Third/Participation only. +5 for correctly solving the puzzle without placing.

The Battle of Hogwarts is over, and four members of the DA are still missing! Even worse, you've heard that one student was so severely injured that they had to be apparated immediately to St. Mungo's! By asking questions of the survivors scattered throughout the castle, can you sort out what happened?

Gameplay
I will tell you who is missing, which Death Eaters they dueled with, which spells were used, and where the duels occurred. You have to find the missing DA members in order to figure out who was sent to St. Mungo's, and what spell (and DE) caused their injuries. This sounds more complicated than it is, don't worry. It's really just Clue with a little trivia mixed in. :)

You can ask witnesses (aka me) questions about each of the elements in question. Your questions have to be relevant to the room you are asking in. You can only ask one question at a time. You must wait for me to answer your question before you can ask a new one. Additionally, you can not ask two questions in a row in the same room. This means once you've asked a question about the duel that occurred in that room, you have to move to a new room in order to ask another question.

Your question must be focused on only ONE element. Additionally, you can not ask direct questions like "Was [DE] in this room?" This constitutes a guess at information and you can not share guesses with other students.

Sample Gameplay
You start out in Room 1 and ask "What can you tell me about the DE that dueled here?" I answer and say either a piece of trivia like "He was once tortured by a reluctant teenage boy at Voldemort's command" (leading you to identify him as Thorfinn Rowle) or something to help you suss out the other elements like "He lost his duel" or "He did not use such-and-such spell." Then you move to another room and ask another question about the DE, spell or DA member in that room.

It may help you to use a chart like the ones used in the recent Transfiguration activity; I've made one for you here. :)

Points
The first one to correctly figure out who was sent to St. Mungo's, which spell was used, which DE attacked them and where the duel took place will get 50 points. The second and third to guess correctly get 40 and 30 points respectively. Everyone else gets 10 points participation. Guessing incorrectly automatically knocks you out of the game and you just get your 10 participation points. However, anyone who participates and does manage to solve the puzzle, even if they don't place, will get 5 extra points. Otherwise you just get 10. If you participate minimally but don't make a guess or a real effort to figure it out (for example, you ask one question and then disappear), you will only get 5 points. Okay? Okay.

A Final Note
Just so everyone knows, everything here is unscreened so as to be more fair to people who do not have extensive time to sit around asking me questions. That means everyone will benefit from any knowledge you gain. You may want to consider this in deciding how to phrase your questions. :)

[Rant] Annoyed musings + Tiny excerpt

Hum, has anyone gone through being asked to beta-read for someone who's not willing to take in critique and listen to your comments to improve themselves, even when you were asked by the other to do it for them?

It's annoying that I took out my time to beta-read this horrible cliched piece of writing, only to have my efforts wasted when the other person didn't want to listen to the comments and outright said that they'd *ignore* them. How fucking irritating is that? And that person was already forewarned that I am a very tough beta-reader; I come down hard on over fantastic, self-insertation, mary-sue and excessive use of cliches stories, and I take a professional approach when it comes to grammar, punctuation and such.

But fuck, that person said that they got frustrated at my comments. Screw them, they had no idea how painful it was to read it because of all the overused cliches, bad BAD grammar, INFLUENCE OF OTHER GAMES (OMGWTFBBQ) and the self-insert character. I don't like self-inserts unless it's for a DAMN good reason and the character better not fucking be a mary-sue as the story progresses.

I went through ONE chapter before I completely gave up. I refuse to do the second that they sent and deleted those documents from my laptop. According to another companion who corresponds between the both of us, that other person thinks that they don't want me to be their beta-reader anymore because they are frustrated at my comments. They? Frustrated at *me*? Hah. That's a laugh.

For fuck's sake; save me my time and efforts and dont fucking ask me to do this shit for you if you don't want to fucking listen to me. Who the fuck says that Australia doesn't have something known as a Christmas break? Sure the seasons are swapped around in comparison to Japan's seasons but fucking hell, using the same word twice in the sentence is REDUNDANT, especially when you already mention that it was summer and then you go on to say summer break. Fuck. 

Apparently they don't have enough creativity to go and search up different places in Japan to set their story. *le gasp* it's set in the Udagawa district of *Shibuya* where their self insert makes squee references to TWEWY. And spray painting walls. Shit, it's obvious that it's grafitti. You make it sound like your reader is stupid enough not to realize it.

Someone shoot me. I'm so fucking annoyed and now I still have that migraine that's been slapping my brain since yesterday. And I haven't been able to do my uni work. Shit. Makes me wonder if I didn't have to do that fucking crap, I would have been able to be headache free with all my work done for the coming tutorials.


Hum, and I wrote very bloody things last night because of these dreams I've been having lately. I'll only give a short excerpt, when I'm in a worse off detached mood I'll continue with it before I post it out here.


He was surrounded with nothing but black. No light, no ominous swirling of shadows; just black. His legs and arms refused to obey his mind’s screams to move, struggling against invisible chains that kept him anchored on the spot. His voice had left him and his skin began to crawl, his body shivering as a sense of foreboding swept through his conscious.

Lifting his head up, he spotted a twinkle of something metallic blink from above him. Again he struggled, but his limbs failed to move as the object grew closer, speeding down from the sky at an alarming rate. Without warning, the sword pierced through his chest solidly, pinning him on the wall behind him viciously as blood splattered around him upon impact.

His vision began to blur as his body screamed in pain. Faintly he tasted the coppery tinge of blood in his mouth, feeling it pour out from his lips and dribble down his chin like a running faucet. His arms fell to his side lifelessly as his spine slouched against the wall, like a puppet whose strings were abruptly cut halfway through a performance.

‘This looks… like… Pixie’s…’ The thought went unfinished as his eyes became blank and void of emotion, his body finally slumping against the bloodied sword that had him pinned against the wall. The sword stuck through his chest had an intricate design of hearts and crowns, bearing a beautiful pearly white color that was now doused in the red of blood.


*Note: The 'pixie' the boy mentions is his nickname for his younger sister. The boy is the second of the triplets and only boy.
